Process
Deliverydrop is a UK-based grocery q-commerce app designed to bridge the gap between local retailers and the growing demand for rapid grocery delivery.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, online grocery shopping saw a significant surge as consumers opted for the convenience and safety of home delivery. While major supermarket chains like Tesco and Asda have the technological infrastructure to meet this shift in consumer behavior, smaller independent stores and rural communities face challenges in competing within the digital marketplace.
To address this, Deliverydrop is developing a centralized q-commerce platform that integrates with electronic point of sale (EPOS) systems to provide real-time inventory updates. This technology enables local retailers to seamlessly list their available stock on the platform, allowing shoppers to browse store inventories and arrange for delivery within 20-30 minutes from stores within a three-mile radius. By equipping small businesses with the tools to compete in the evolving retail landscape, Deliverydrop ensures greater accessibility and convenience for both retailers and consumers.
I developed an app designed to create a playful and engaging user experience by incorporating vibrant colors and animated vegetable characters throughout key areas of the interface. These elements were strategically integrated to enhance user interaction and make the app more visually appealing.
Beyond the app itself, I was responsible for designing a full suite of promotional materials, including social media advertisements, marketing literature, and digital assets to support the app’s launch and ongoing engagement efforts. Additionally, I played a key role in directing a series of promotional advertisements, ensuring that the campaign effectively communicated the app’s unique value proposition while maintaining a cohesive visual and brand identity.
